Beard and Moustache are a sign of masculinity, implies maturity, and boosts confidence in men. Also for many men, growing and maintaining facial hair is something of an art, a statement of one’s sense of identity.
Beard hairs are maintained by male hormones, testosterone, and di-hydrotestosterone.
Unfortunately, some men can’t grow the perfect beard with desired shape and required density.
Their facial hair may be sparse, patchy, or nonexistent for a variety of reasons, including:
• Facial burns or scarring
• Genetics
• Hormonal imbalance
• Alopecia barbae
• A skin infection creating hair loss
• Vitamin A and beta A carotene deficiency
• Lack of amino acid necessary for hair growth
